Cancellation of false EPIRB alert:

How do you to stop further/continuous transmission of EPIRB?

If manually activated, pull back the (spring loaded) switch to the OFF position and put
the locking pin.
If it is automatically activated, retrieve the EPIRB, use cotton cloth and wipe out the
sea water contact screws. (that means dry the screws)

you have retrieved EPIRB. But you can not stop the continuous transmission
of EPIRB. What will you do?
Remove the battery.
EPIRB has two halves. Upper half and lower half. Unscrew the joining screws.
Battery in the lower half
OR
Fully cover EPIRB with an aluminium tin foil sheet. No transmission will be sent out from the
aluminium tin foil cover (Protection)
