1. There was a mistrust between franchisee and franchisor as the latter thought that former is
making money and not recording it. ( refer to page 95;letter)

2. Apollo is perceived as a 5 star hotel by the patients hence some of them may not prefer it
thinking it would be unaffordable.

3. There was a mismanagement as doctors who were selected for routine clinic visits were not
of great help. (refer to letter)

4. There are no emergency care or day care services for patients. They are relying entirely on
value proposition model.

5. When AHLL was launched, it aimed at providing premium health services at affordable
prices, but now they are believing in charging premium for the brand Appollo. (page no 95,
third last paragraph)
