A Happy Child I am Lucky.

:
My house is red – a little house
If I were a butterfly
A happy child am I. I would be thankful
I laugh and play the whole day long, For my wings.
I hardly ever cry.
If I were an elephant
I have a tree, I would be thankful
A green, green tree, That I can raise my trunk.
To shade me from the sun;
If I were a kangaroo
And under it I often sit,
I would try to hop
When all my play is done. Right up to the moon.

So I just think I am lucky to be “me".

After A Bath
Not “you", but “me".
After my bath What do you think you want to be?
Do you want to be like me?
I try, try, try
Or just you? Just you...
try to wipe myself
till I’m dry, dry, dry.

Hands to wipe
and fingers and toes
and two wet legs
and a shiny nose.

Just think how much

less time I’d take
if I were a dog
and could shake, shake, shake.
