CHAPTER III: MANAGEMENT ASPECT

FORM OF OWNERSHIP
Importance of form of ownership has a strong impact for business performances and the nature
of competition in a market.
Longgay pizza shall be established as Partnership because two or more people are involved in
the business. The advantage of being in a Partnership business it will not cost too much and losses are
divided equally. There is two form of partnership the first one is General Partner the one who assumes
the responsibility for the management of the business and the limited partner the one who contributes
only assets you the business while having no role to the business.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
For the business to run is an efficient manner and organizational structure is visually
demonstrated through organizational chart. The flow of responsibility from the top of the organization
down to the bottom is essential.

The organizational structure shows that will represent the hierarchy and chain of the command
of Longgay pizza.

MANDATORY BENEFITS
In consonance with the labor code of the Philippines, employers are mandated by law to
provide the following :

All employees hired in public or private companies


are required to have an SSS number (R.A. No. 8282)
SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM (SSS) The SSS was formed to provide meaningful
protection to members and their beneficiaries
against the hazards of disability ,sickness,
maternity ,old age , death and other contingencies
resulting in loss of income and financial burden .
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation is a
Medical Insurance company of the Philippines. All
PHILIPPINE HEALTH INSURANCE(PHILHEALTH) employees are required to enroll in the Nation
Health Insurance program. Monthly contribution is
based on employee’s monthly salaries.
Under Presidential Decree No. 851, employers are
required to pay their employees a 13th month pay
13th MONTH PAY yearly.

Overtime pay is paid when you worked over 8


hours in a day.
OVERTIME AND HOLIDAY PAY Holiday Pay is paid when employees worked during
a regular holidays, he/she shall be paid an
additional 30% of his/her hourly rate.
BUSINESS POLICIES
Business policies of Longgay pizza would serve as the guidelines, rules and principles
formulated or planned by the business to reach it’s long term and govern it’s actions. It also facilitates
predetermined objective on the mode and manner in the structural and functional aspect.

a.) No smoking, drug and alcohol policies


Employees are not allowed to smoke, use drugs and drink alcohol inside and during working
hours
b.) No Mobile Phone Policy
Using of mobile phones are not allowed during work hours exemption to the rule if it is an
emergency call.
c.) Health and Safety Policy (medical certificate)
Employees are mandated to offer a clean and safe service
d.)Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment policy
Employees must respect the differences of each other and avoid harassment

e.) Discipline and Termination Policy


Employee’s undergo training to improve their skills and doing their best in their work to avoid
being terminated
