NOTICE TO IELTS CANDIDATES

TEST DATE TRANSFER

 Candidates can transfer the test date only ONCE within 3 months.
 Candidates must complete Test Date Transfer form at the IDP office
 The transfer will be free of charge if candidates submit the form at least 15 days prior to registered test
date.
 If candidates submit the form within 08 - 14 days prior to registered test date, the transfer fee is
450.000 VND.
 Test date transfer is not accepted 07 days prior to registered test date.

CANCELLATION
 Refund request must be submitted at least five (5) weeks prior to the registered test date. Cancellation
will not be accepted if test date transfer has been done. For each cancellation, 25% of test fee will be
retained by the center to cover administration cost.
 If the test application is done within five weeks prior to the test date, the cancellation will not be
accepted.
 If the test application is done within 7 days prior to the test date, test date transfer will not be
accepted.
 If you cancel your test within five weeks of the test date for any reason apart from medical ones, you
will not be eligible to receive a refund. If you cancel your test for medical reasons, you must provide
supporting medical evidence within five working days of the test date. Only evidence of serious illness
will be considered. Only original medical certificates from public hospitals will be accepted and must
state inability to appear for the test on the scheduled test date.
 Candidates are NOT allowed to request for refund once they have transferred test date before.

ON THE TEST DAY

You must present the exact ID document indicated on the application form to the IELTS test. Original ID card or
Passport MUST be valid until the test day. Foreign candidates are also required to present valid entry Visa on
test days.

You must be present at the test venue at 7.45 am on the main test date and at least 30 minutes before your
speaking test. Do not bring your valuable items to the test venue, as the test center will not be responsible for
their loss.

In our test room, we will provide each candidate a pencil, an eraser and a bottle of water. You must leave all
personal belongings in the designated belongings area. All electronic devices, watches and mobile phones must
be left in the belongings area and must be switched off. You may be electronically scanned for devices at any time
during the test day. Any candidate who breaches these conditions will not receive an IELTS test result or be eligible
for a refund or transfer.

The first three tests -Listening, Reading and Writing must be completed in one day. The Speaking test may
be taken, at the discretion of the test center, in the period three days before or after the main test date.

TEST RESULTS
Absence for any part of the test will result in not receiving your test result. Results will be released 13 days
after the test. We do not give results over the phone, by fax or email. Each candidate receives only one
copy of Test Report Form (TRF) and you must present your national ID card/ passport to get your TRF.
Replacement TRFs are not provided in case of loss.
Candidates’ IELTS results are uploaded onto the website https://results.ieltsessentials.com/ from 17:00, GMT+7,
13 days after the test day, and remain available for the following 28 days. Please note that online results cannot
serve as a replacement for the official report, and this service is designed for IELTS candidates at IDP only.

Authorization: In order to authorize someone to collect your result on your behalf, please submit an authorization
form. This form should be filled out and retained until your results are released. Please give it to the authorized
person or send it to IDP office via ielts.hcmc@idp.com. The authorized person must bring his/her ID mentioned
on the form.

ADDITIONAL TEST REPORT FORM (TRF)

Within one month from the test result release date, you are eligible to request a maximum of 05 extra copies of
TRF free, which will be sent directly from IDP to any institutions. Postage is at your expense, except domestic
mail. Any additional copy requested after one month will be charged VND200,000.

TRF DELIVERY TO CANDIDATE’S ADDRESS

Test Report Form will be posted to candidates’ address in other cities/provinces/countries than HCMC upon
receiving the candidate’s request. The courier fee to other countries will be confirmed and collected by the
Service Provider.

ENQUIRIES ON RESULTS (EOR)

Candidate must submit the EOR form within 6 weeks of your test date and complete with your original
Test Report Form and EOR fee of VND2,310,000.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates with special requirements must give the center a minimum of three months’ notice if they require
modified materials, and a minimum of six weeks’ notice if they require special administrative arrangement.
Supporting medical evidence must accompany the application form.
