6.1 Specification for Specification of Motor

Notes:-
1. Area classification zone, gas group & temperature class mentioned in
clause no. 3.1 to 3.3 are referring to IS/IEC.
2. Each MOV shall be provided single point power supply as per Cl. no. 2.0
of datasheet at the actuator. Any other control supply & anti condensation
heater power supply voltage required shall be derived internally from
power supply.
3. Necessary detailed catalogue having various technical features and data
for actuator selection shall also be furnished.
4. Actuator shall be provided with the following additional protection:
Instantaneous phase reversal protection for MOVs with AC power supply.
5. For remote position indication (wherever specified in Cl no. 4.6 of
datasheet) continuous position indication and loose supply of remote
continuous position indicator shall be included in the quoted prices of
respective MOV.
6. Vendor shall furnished data as per Part-II of the datasheet for each MOV.
7. MOV open / close input signals will be through closing of separate
potential free contacts for maximum of 2 second duration. Required
controls for running the motor for complete closing / opening of valve shall
be provided in the actuator.
8. Canopy shall be provided by the vendor for each motor operated valve.
