I. PROJECT TITLE “Sustainability, Preparation, Survival against Climate Change”


Proposed Activity: SCHOOL- BASED CAMP 2019

II. Project Description:

In line with the Basic Education Department Elementary level’s Scouting Program Plan of
Action, we are going to conduct our 3rd school-based camping program.
With the proposed theme “Sustainability, Preparation, Survival against Climate
Change”, the activity aims to train students to beskilled in first aid necessary for
disaster/emergency situations, teach them the basic skills in survival, and todevelop their social
skills and boost their confidence through performances and production numbers.

III. Goals and Objectives:

At the end of the each activities, the students will be able to:

• Exhibit skills in first aid necessary for emergency situations


• Perform the basic skills in survival
 Perform the basics of tie knotting
• Develop fellowship, social skills and confidence through performances and production
number.
 Develop strong sense of self and determination throughout the activity.

Participants: All pupils from Preschool to Grade 6

The Students of the Basic Education Department of the Northwestern Visayan

Colleges Kalibo, Aklan would like to conduct a training on First Aid, Basic Survival Skills

and Tie Knotting on August 13, 2016 (Saturday) at 8:30- 11:30 AM. The purpose of this

activity is to enable our students to gain required skill and competence to cope up with

emergency situation.
