Our moon is almost

It regulates the ocean tides on Earth. It also helps

keep the Earth from wobbling on its axis, and keeps

the tilt steady. Scientists have been studying the moon for centuries. In 1969,

Neil Armstrong became the first man to land on the moon. He and other

astronauts brought back samples to study. Since then we have sent over 70

spacecraft to the moon, and twelve astronauts have walked on it.
