ORAL COMMUNICATION IN CONTEXT Informative Speech, Manuscript Delivery
I. O B J E C T IV E S
General Objective. Present an informative speech of a topic that is timely, relevant, and relatable.
Specific Objective. Show appropriate facial expressions and the right tone and voice through manuscript delivery.
II. A C T IV I T Y S P E C IF IC S

1. Choose a topic that is timely, relevant, and relatable and develop it into an Expository Speech good only for
three (2) to five (3) minutes.
2. Prepare a manuscript of the speech, on a short bond paper for use in your actual speech delivery and for
submission to the subject teacher; the name and the class no. should be found at the upper left of the
manuscript
3. The table below will serve as your basis for knowing which type of expository speech should be delivered:

4. The manuscript should clearly show a good introduction, body, and conclusion.
5. The speech will be graded based on two major areas only-Organization (15pts.) and Delivery (15pts.)
6. The criteria for each major areas are as follows:
