 1. Identify the most common damages in conventional ground clamps and highlight the

consequences they encompass

Justification

This activity will be carried out in order to know the most frequent problems faced by users

of welding machines, and that the design to be carried out focuses on minimizing these

problems.

produce a graph showing the frequency of the most common problems will be obtained.

Justification

This activity is carried out in order to select an optimal construction material in terms of

cost-quality for the proposed design.

3. Produce CAD documentation (drawings) of the proposed design

Justification

This activity addresses computer-aided design and drawing by constructing a series of data
or specifications to support all those users who, at some point wish to build this design in a

physical way.

Result

Solidworks will be the key tool for the development of this activity, obtaining from it the

design plan with its corresponding specifications. In addition, this same software will perform

the validation of the proposed design through finite element analysis involving an electric

current flow.
