I. Rationale

The trees around us are extremely important and have always been
necessary for improving the human condition - both during a tree’s life and
after a tree’s harvest. It would not be stretching things if one were to say that
without trees, we humans would not be able to exist on this beautiful planet.
Plantations of trees is important as they improve the life and fulfil essential
needs of mankind. During photosynthesis, the trees breakdown food
materials and consume carbon dioxide. Resultantly with the help of sunlight,
the trees produce carbohydrates. Moreover, trees support life by providing
habitat to different species such as squirrels, bees and birds. Trees cleanse
the climate by absorbing carbon dioxide from the environment and releasing
oxygen. The trees cool the environment through their leaves by absorbing the
sun heat. Thus, there occurs cooling in the atmosphere. The trees provide
shades to houses and streets.

Trees is important factors in environment since it contributes to the

environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration,
conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process
of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we
breathe. Trees, shrubs and turf also filter air by removing dust and absorbing
other pollutants like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide.
After trees intercept unhealthy particles, rain washes them to the ground.
Trees control climate by moderating the effects of the sun, rain and wind.
Leaves absorb and filter the sun’s radiant energy, keeping things cool in
summer.

My role as Steward of God’s creation is to take care and love the living
things and non-living things. Also, it is my responsibility to treat God’s creation
in well-mannered and with respect.
II. Planting Site
- This site I have chosen to plant my seedlings is my family’s lot. I choose
this place since there are still few plant and in order for me to plant my
seedlings far from each other.

III. Planting Process.

- In planting the fruit seedlings, I had problem or challenge in order for me to
plant and make my project successful. First, I had to find a site that is clear
and a site that we own because of course someone might get angry if you
don’t own it. Second, I had to go to my hometown in Calape for me to have
this kind of seedling and this site. Third, I had to dig deeper and harder
because the soil is dry. Lastly, I had to clear all the unnecessary plant for
me to plant my seedlings.
