Note:-
1 The mix design carried out in laboratory, if the workability achieved at site is less than required workability due to
chemical admixture can be increased slightly and site trials should be conducted to check the workability and stren
than required, water content should be adjusted.
2 The mix design is based on saturated surface dry condition of coarse and fine aggregate. If dry aggregate are used,
increased by an amount equal to the moisture likely to be absorbed by the aggregates. If wet aggregates are used, n
the mixing water and aggregate depending upon the amount of surface moisture present.
3 It will be advisable to check the silt content of crushed sand at frequent intervals during the supply, if the silt conte
permissible limil, the crushed sand may require washing.
