METHODOLOGY:
I. Opening Prayer: Dear Lord and Father of all,

Help us to focus our hearts and minds now on what we are about to
learn.
Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and write.
Guide us by your eternal light as we discover more about the world

II. Short Review: Using the Letter and Letter-Sound Knowledge Profile, review and analyse the
student’s responses to identify what the student can already do and where they need
additional support.

III. Motivational
Activity: A visual aid will be used to refresh their knowledge. Students must identify the sound
or the letter of a certain image

IV. Lesson Proper: 1. Letter Sound

-This literally means that when a child sees a letter, they are able to say what sound it
makes.
2. Letter Recognition
-Ability to visually recognize letters of the alphabet
V. Closure:
Each student will give a certain letter and give an example word that starts with what he/she stated.
(EX: Aa, Apple)

VI. Evaluation: QUIZ #

Write your items or indicate that you did last week’s quiz today.
Identify what is the corresponding small letter of each alphabet after that give a sample
word for each.
