I. Objectives:
After the session, the students are expected to:
1. Explain the factors that paved way to the outbreak of World War II.
2. Identify the effects of World War II with the use of graphic organizer.
3. Value the Independence of our country.

1. World War II: Pre-War to the outbreak of WWII

III. Procedure
1. Daily Routine
2. Motivation:
Activity: "Guess that Flag!"
The teacher will group the class into 4 and the students should identify the
names of the flag on the board. The countries mentioned will be used to
introduce the topic.
- From the pictures, what have you observed?
Lesson Proper:
Activity 1: Think-Pair-Share
• The students will share their opinions after they watched the brief history of
World War 2.

Activity 2: Discussion on Introduction, Causes, Events and Effects.

3. Generalization:
In your own understanding, what do you think people have learned from war?

Consider the personalities, tactics and policies of leaders. What qualities make a
good war leader?
4. Values Integration
Before the war started, it just began with small things that turned into big
situations that paved way to war. For example a single matchstick can burn a whole
community. It is also the same with our life, what should you do in order to be wise in
decision making?

5. Evaluation
Cold Call: The students will be asked questions that will evaluate their understanding of
the lesson.

6. Assignment
Write an essay (500 words) about the effects of World War 2 to be discussed tomorrow.
Make your own title and write it in an intermediate pad paper. Please be guided by the
rubric below:
