Research essay: In order to
successfully complete their
research essay students will be
required to use the internet to
locate adequate sources. This
then links into the digital
pedagogy.
Lesson 40: Students will be
required to participate in the
Kahoot quiz which requires
connecting to a virtual room
set up by the teacher.
Lesson 1: Students will be
working with other students to
brainstorm their prior
knowledge.
Lessons 3 & 4: Students will be
working in groups to create an
informed presentation on
Hellenistic kingdoms.
Lesson 9: Students are
required to put together a
jigsaw puzzle and then tell a
story from the finished piece.
Lesson 10 & 11: Students are
split into small groups and
made to roleplay scenes from
Cleopatra’s life.
Lesson 15 &16: Watching the
film Cleopatra (1963) and
comparing her portrayal in the
film to researched sources.
