TRAINING DESIGN
I. RATIONALE
Furthermore, the trainings will allow teachers to self-assess their performance against
competency standard in order to identify areas of strength as well as areas that need to be
developed in order for them to function more effectively as facilitators of learning.
II. OBJECTIVES:
1. Enhance teachers with a wide range of teaching strategies that enhance learner
achievement in literacy and numeracy
2. Optimize skills to select, develop, organize and use of appropriate teaching and learning
resources to address learning goals
3. Gained basic knowledge on the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST),
Result-Based Performance Management System (RPMS), and Teacher Induction Program (TIP).

I. RATIONALE
II. OBJECTIVE
At the end of the training, Teachers and the School Head of this school shall have:
Gained basic knowledge on the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST),
Result-Based Performance Management System (RPMS), and Teacher Induction
Program (TIP); conducted the School-Based In-service Training activities, and prepared
their Instructional Materials (IMs) for their continuing professional development.

5. The teaching ability and performance, knowledge on DepEd mandates and ethics
of teachers of Manika Elementary School were enhanced.
6. Teachers were equipped with new knowledge on reading and counting numbers
for the teaching-learning process to cater the non-readers and non-numerates pupils.
7. The performance of teachers were reviewed and assessed and that weaknesses
and needs would be addressed for the best performance.
