CHARACTERISTICS OF FAITH

1.) TOTAL AND ABSOLUTE

REFLECTION:
- As Christians, our commitment to God calls for a total and
absolute faith. We are called to completely surrender our will
to the Father. It would be a foolish act to entrust ourselves to
the capabilities of a human being and to the limited and
sometimes faulty knowledge of a person. We must entrust
ourselves to the Lord Almighty for He is eternal(no end and no
beginning). He is the reason and the creator of everything, for
which He is the one who created man. Our faith to God is
absolute because it He is limitless, He is all-powerful and He is
eternal.

2.) TRINITARIAN-
REFLECTION:
- We are all called to believe in one God, but all of us must

recognize that God is not a solitary person but He is a

community of love and Christ is our entry point to this
community. For which, Jesus Christ was sent to us here to
open our hearts and our eyes to listen, to see, to hear and to
believe in the Almighty God, that He is our Creator and that
He sent his only begotten son here to save us all and to teach
us the life we should live and the path we shall follow.
3.) LOVING, MATURING AND MISSIONARY
REFLECTION:
- Our faith is to love because God is love. The full happiness of
a person can be seen in loving God and therefore loving God
means wanting others to love and to have faith in Him too,

because as we all know, only in God can people find true abd
complete joy. As Christians, we are called to participate in
Christ's mission to spread the Good News and the word of the
Lord. Our love to our Lord, is not stagnant, but it is rather
dyanamic, and this dynamism can be manifested in the
continuous growing body of knowledge of Christ and in
imitation also of his example of giving selfless service to
others, and to have mercy and to show compassion for our
neighbors.

4.) INFORMED AND COMMUNICATION

REFLECTION:
- Usually when we are informed, we then believe. When we
know the events in Jesus' life, in his teachings and his
miracles, we then accept that the Lord has the words of
eternal life. Believing all the words and teachings of Jesus and
that these words and teachings are safeguarded by the
Christian comunity, which is the church. Through the Church,
God
teaches
about the
Holy
Scripture
and the
Church's
living
tradition.
As God-centered evangelists we are called to know in what we
believe in and that the Holy Spirit is in our Church.

5.)

INCULTURATED
REFLECTION:
- As we can all witness to, our faith in God is also rooted in the
typical Filipino setting. For which, our faith in God can be also
manifested in our daily life especially in human relationships.
The love we respectfully and compassionately show to our
neighbours is another way or example of living our faith. I can
now completely see the strong and intense faith I have for our
Lord. By showing my love and kindness to my peers and love
ones, I also embrace the trust and faith God has within myself.
I am more indulged to manifest my faith in God by doing
different acts of kindness that can help sustain my belief and
commitment to my Creator.
