Scope and Delimitation of the Study

The project mainly focuses on the developing of cooling system using

Microcontroller-based Smart Thermostat that will be applied at Room 104 ITC of

Dr. Josefina V. Estolas Building. The system will use thermostat to control the

room temperature and measure humidity. The air-condition unit can be operated

using mobile device as a remote connected to the dashboard via internet.

The proposed system is only limited to Room 104 of Dr. Josefina V.

Estolas Building. When the mobile device is not connected to the internet the set

default cooling point will be used and cannot be adjusted.
