TYPE OF E-BUSINESS
1. B2B (BUSINESS TO BUSINESS)
B2B is an electronic transaction between one business object and another business
object. B2B is also called an inter-company transaction. The transaction uses EDI
(Electronic Data Interchange) and email for the purchase of goods and services,
information and consultation. B2B is also used for sending and receiving business
proposals.

Examples of B2B E-commerce websites are:

 PT Krakatau Steel (www.krakatausteel.com)

PT Krakatau Steel is the largest steel company in Indonesia, to order steel in Krakatau Steel
each company must register its company. Once registered, the Partner Company can order
steel at Krakatau Steel using EDI.
 Unilever (www.unilever.co.id/id/)
Unilever is a company producing Home and Personal Care products and Foods & Ice
Cream in Indonesia. Unilever is one of the customers of PT. Electronic Data Interchange
Indonesia.

2. B2C (BUSINESS TO CONSUMER)

B2C is an e-business activity in direct service to consumers through goods or
services. Sales transactions can be done on the internet and direct bookings made by
consumers by looking at the prices listed.

Examples of B2C E-Commerse Websites are:

 Asus Store (store.asus.com)

Asus Store is a new E-Commerse website founded by Asus that sells smartphones made in
Asus directly to consumers. Therefore Asus Store is also included on the B2C E-Commerse
Website.

3. B2A (BUSINESS TO ADMINISTRATION)
B2A is a type of e-commerce that includes all transactions carried out online
between companies and public administration. This type of e-commerce involves many
services, especially in fields such as fiscal, social security, employment, legal documents
and registers, and others.

4. C2A (CONSUMER TO ADMINISTRATION)

C2A is a type of e-commerce that includes all transactions carried out online
between consumer (individual) and public administration.

5. C2B (CONSUMER TO BUSINESS)

C2B is very common in multi- resource bsed project. Type of e-commerce with a
complete reversal of traditional exchange or buying and selling transactions, including
individuals who sell products or services to organizations, as well as individuals who look
for sellers, interact with these sellers, and make transactions.

 MBT (www.mybloggerthemes.com)
MBT (My Blogger Themes) is a site that sells blog templates from various template
developers. The template maker can upload the template he made on the link provided
by MBT, then MBT will sell the uploaded template and share the profits with the
template maker.

6. C2C (CONSUMER TO CONSUMER)
C2C IS THE TRANSACTION that occurs when an individual sells products /
services directly to other individuals. C2C is also biased called b. This is a type of
transaction where consumers sell products directly to other consumers. Also an individual
who advertises products or services, knowledge, and expertise on one of the auction sites.

 Carmudi (carmudi.co.id)
Carmudi.co.id is a vehicle buying and selling site that offers the best deals on the car
market in Indonesia. On carmudi.co.id site visitors can advertise cars for sale or if you
want to buy a car, site visitors can search for cars offered by other visitors on
carmudi.co.id
