Title : PEDAL POWERED WASHING MACHINE

Abstract :-The pedal powered washing machine is the best option for rural as well
as urban areas where there is a problem of electric supply or there is a
shortage of electric supply.There is no need of electricity, diesel and
petrol,only man power is needed.The weight of the product is very less, is
cost effective and also provides a sort of physical exercise to the user.
The system is also useful for the workout purpose because pedaling will
act as a health exercise.

We came up with a very simple concept. The basic idea is to use a

stationary bicycle stand as the power source, and use an assembly of
chain and sprockets to connect it to a washing tub. This machine has
pedals which are connected with disc inside the drum or box. When we
pedal, the disc inside the drum revolves with clothes and detergent; it
started to work like any electric machine.

This washing machine is the most simple to use for the end user
and hence user doesn’t need extra knowledge for operating the same. It
is a good practical household appliance as it helps to ease the user’s work
and also provides physical workout to the user without any addition
inputs like electricity so more eco-friendly option compared to
conventional electricity powered washing machine.
