The importance of online safety
The history of communication technology and how it impacts our lives
Synopsis
In this unit, students will explore the importance of technology in our day-to-day lives. They will
learn about online safety and fake news. They will discuss how children their age use the
internet and learn how communication technology has evolved over time. Students will write a
fact-based article and plan and prepare a conversation discussing a blog post.
