Additionally, 750 (63%) students offering four H2 subjects scored distinctions in at


least three H2 subjects, while 619 (52%) students scored at least four H2 distinctions.
Overall, the batch of 2018 had 536 (45%) students attaining at least 6 Distinctions,
286 (24%) students attaining at least 7 Distinctions, 78 (7%) students attaining at
least 8 Distinctions, and 6 (0.5%) students attaining 9 Distinctions.

The batch outdid themselves in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, History,


Geography, and Knowledge and Inquiry as well, with 7 in 10 achieving distinction.
Economics saw a marginal decrease from last year, with a distinction rate of 6 in 10.

The cohort’s exceptional showings also manifested in the UAS tally: 368 students
(30.9%) achieved a perfect University Admission Score (UAS), while the mean UAS
remained high at 84.5 out of 90.

2017 batch

741 students (63.2%) received distinctions in 3 of their H2 subjects, and 543 (46.3%)
received 4 H2 distinctions. 204 students (17.4%) achieved distinctions in all of their subjects,
including H3s.
Adding to the cohort’s excellent showing, 344 students (29.3%) achieved a perfect University
Admission Score (UAS) of 90, up from 27.4% last year. The mean UAS remained high at 85
out of 90.

The batch of 2017 also performed well in Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography,
Literature and Physics, with 7 in 10 achieving distinctions in these subjects. Finally,
the cohort sustained RI’s showing in General Paper, with 50% of candidates receiving
distinctions.

A total of 388 Dunmanians sat for the Examinations in 2017, and they have done
themselves and the school proud with their hard work and achievements!

Almost 50% (192 Dunmanians) scored at least 3 H2 Distinctions, with 125


attaining at least 6 Distinctions, 55 scoring at least 7 Distinctions, 7 achieving 8
Distinctions and 2 achieving 9 Distinctions.
