Who are we looking for

We are seeking experienced dynamic consulting professionals/ strategic thinkers who have worked in
corporate and social sector. The individual will be responsible for ensuring customer (s) success and
managing overall delivery of project. Must have experience in a leadership position and multi-
stakeholder environment.

The Engagement Manager will be an integral part of our Consulting Services vertical, building positive
relationships with clients, and working closely with the team in designing and building solutions to
enable high impact on the ground.

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for:

Client Engagement

• Lead client engagements through relationship building, active listening and providing
strategic inputs which align with their vision of high impact on the ground and the
ecosystem.
• Co-create solutions to meet client’s current and future needs and work closely with key
stakeholders
• Lead stakeholder engagement, analysis and presentation of synthesized outputs and
recommendations based on in-depth understanding of client’s work, developmental
needs of the program beneficiaries
• Influence decision making and action to enable positive and sustainable impact

Delivery Excellence

• Lead the projects with the teams, taking accountability of delivery goals and achieving the
impact outcomes.
• Lead the day to day delivery of the projects, gathering and analyzing the information,
preparing recommendations for the clients
 • Plan the projects to maximize the social impact outcomes and ensure that
the projects meet their profitability objectives
• Effectively allocate the team members to projects, guiding and developing them to
achieve their goals

Strengthen Sattva’s Consulting Services vertical

• Participate in building and strengthening internal systems and processes which contribute
towards effective and efficient functioning of the vertical.
• Keep abreast of new and current trends within the social impact space, approaches to enable
scalable impact
• Work closely with the business development team to develop high quality proposals to
generate new business

Building expertise and thought leadership

• Build specialization in specific vertical and horizontal focus areas that strengthen Sattva’s
capabilities to deliver value to our clients
• Build, structure and develop knowledge to share internally within the organisation and at the
ecosystem level

What we are looking for

At Sattva, our goal is realizing impact on the ground and driving a collective win by engaging
with multiple stakeholders. We are looking for passionate individuals who align with our
vision and have the following profile:

1. 6-9 years of professional experience across business and social domains

2. Prior experience in the consulting industry at a mid-management role will be
preferred
3. Prior experience of having worked in the social impact space on the ground
4. Experience of working and leading in a team environment
5. Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas
effectively
7. Strong client engagement skills - Experience of having worked with top
leadership, led engagements
8. Humility, willingness to listen and learn

Location
The role will be based out of Sattva’s Gurgaon office (non-negotiable), and involve occasional
short-term travel to other urban and rural locations.
