Importance of communication skill in

Communication skills are such tool that is very necessary for our daily life because we are
communicating with our fellowman’s 24 hours almost because communication is not only what we
talk but how we talk, how we walk, how we sit, gestures, face expression, even our eyes also plays
vital role in field of communication. Now coming towards the point, what is the role of
communication in civil engineering? Civil engineering is fully connected with communication
because after graduation if we want to apply for job then we have to write application for that
prospector, while appearing in interviews; where w can pass if we are fully a wear from
communication skill and we have good communications if we have good knowledge but not good
communicate then we fail in transferring our ideas and concepts and our answer in front of
interview panels that’s why most of talented students are left behind and after passing written test
by good numbers they are fail in interview because of lack of communication skills.bt if anyway we
pass the interview and got job. In field we have to make and present the presentation about our
project, here we also need communication skills. There is also team work if we are selected as
project manager or head of the team then if we have good communication skills then we easily
communicate with them, command them, give them instructions and lead them, but I have no
command then even we have great knowledge then all but we fail to explain, we feel ashamed in
front of the all. At this position we have to arrange meeting with customers, designer, contractors,
architects, consultants and other professions involved, if we have not good communication skills
then we fail to show our skills and we cannot make progress. But if we are in lower position then
also we need it because we have to work individually in mega projects and present our work.

In the nutshell, without communication skills we cannot enjoy our progress, we cannot enjoy our
processional life, our personality even our personal life.
