The Department of Caquetá is made up of the municipalities of Albania, Belén de los andaquies,
Cartagena del Chaira, Curillo, Doncello, Paujil, Florencia, Montañita, Morelia, Milán, Puerto
Rico, San José del Fragua, San Vicente del Caguán, Solano, Solita and Valparaíso;
In this wonderful department it is abundant to find different types of dairy products such
as: cheese, cheese, yogurt, kumis, among others. Amazonian fruits such as cocona, arazá,
chontaduro and caimarona grapes have been marketed for several years, with which jam,
nectars, snacks, preserves, pulp, etc. are produced.

Morelia is the smallest municipality in the department of Caquetá, with attractions such
as the Aquarium of Pirarucu, a name awarded by the largest freshwater fish in Colombia;
the seawall on the crystalline Bodoquero River; the waterfall La Diabla; the creek Aguas
Calientes; and the wetlands of Arapaima, Nanicuni and San Jorge. The Bodoquero River
is one of the most visited places because visitors enjoy its refreshing waters and the
chicken stew made on the beaches of this wonderful freshwater stream on weekends.

Caqueteña gastronomy, enjoys a very particular seasoning, marked by the tradition of our
grandmothers in the countryside and that indigenous heritage, which allows us to explore
delicious dishes that highlight the flavors of our homeland. In Caquetá, you can enjoy
delicious Amazonian fruits such as Arazá, Caimarona Grape and Copoazú. The water
wealth allows us to enjoy a great variety of fish, among which you will find the great
Pirarucú, which exceeds 3 meters long. Caquetá has some of the best meats in the country.
It is the fifth most important dairy basin in the country, so you can enjoy delicious cheeses
with Protected Designation of Origin, desired and appreciated by important restaurants
nationwide. In Florence, tourists can enjoy from the typical Colombian food, authentic
regional dishes enriched with traditional indigenous cuisine to international dishes.

San Juanero is the typical dance of the Colombian department of Caquetá. In this region
the dance is diverse, due to the origin of the colonization that populated the department.
In the beginning this region was geographically framed in the Tolima Grande region, this
being one of the greatest influences on artistic expressions in Caquetá.

The department of Caquetá offers countless tourist attractions from a natural, cultural and
scientific point of view. The beautiful landscapes of the jungle and plain range offer the
visitor places of exotic beauty, abundant greenery and capricious forms; Among them,
the Picacho and Serranía de Chiribiquete natural parks, the Araracuara mountain range
and the Yarí plains stand out. The Caquetá ethnographic museum and the archeological
