INTRODUCTION

Bandimba Rural Health Centre is in the heart of Mount Darwin District in the Dande area. It covers th
ree wards, 3, 33 and 34. The area shares borders with Mocambique to the North, Pfunyanguwo to th
e East, Kamutsenzere to the South and Kapiripiri to the West. Demographic data for 2017 reports tha
t the area has a total population of 11 886, with 1 426 being children between 12 to 59 months. Infan
ts below 12 months are 380 altogether.

 Mobility remains a major challenge as follow ups to far points solely depends on
transport
 Communication is a challenge due to lack of airtime

 Transport should be provided to ease on mobility


 Mass child vaccinations should be conducted at least after every six months to boost overall
immunization.
