Problem 
 
The Province of Bulacan, with its history and significance in nation building, has finally decided to have 
its own cultural center.  Although the different municipalities and cities in the province has their own 
cultural center, there is no unified center in the province.  The province has decided that they will use 
the existing Blas Ople building and the mini forest  
 
Needs 
 
As a cultural center, particular spaces are needed for it to fit the province’s needs.  Primarily, an 
administrative office must be in place for the province’s tourism and cultural officers.  Given that this 
kind of center hosts event at the center or elsewhere, storage must be considered for equipment.  Open 
spaces must also be designed into the center for use as museums, exhibits, and even performances.  
Gathering spaces must be in heavy consideration.  On top of those mentioned, research what other 
locations are needed for this kind of center.

a. 15” x 20” Hopia paper, LANDSCAPE Orientation 
b. No border 
c. Create a 1”(h)x3”(w) title block on the lower righ hand side of the sheet with the 
following details: 
i. Right most 1”x1” – sheet number 
ii. Left upper portion – full name 
iii. Left middle portion – Section and subject 
iv. Left lower portion – “ESQUISSE #2” 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 5. Site 
‐ Pls. search for the site of the Bulacan Provincial Compound.  
‐ Locate the existing site of the mini forest and Blas Ople Building 
‐ You must reflect the existing trees and provide additional 30 trees together with its 
specie and why did you include that in your site. 
‐ Pls consider the ongoing construction/ development around the area.
