Building your competence boosts your confidence and confidence is a close
friend to high achievers. Building your competence is like cleaning your house.
If you stop cleaning, dust collects. The need to clean never ends. To achieve the
success you deserve, you need to find ways to be constantly improving. The task
of building competence never ends.
Competence includes anything that improves your ability to perform--your
knowledge, skills, relationships, resourcefulness, processes, systems, and
information. Olympic athletes are not only testaments to the human spirit, but
they are also living examples of competence. Only when we hear their backstories
do we fully appreciate all it takes to build Olympic-level competence. We learn
about gut-wrenching daily training regimens, strict nutritional standards, rigorous
mental discipline, top-notch training equipment, reams of collected data, various
supporting relationships, and even past adversities that motivate the Olympian. It
is an intentionally developed set of systems and processes designed to produce a
golden victory.
This building of competence just we used in daily routine life vice-versa
organizations also follow these rules to enhanced our organizations. They give
people professional development goals to work towards. It can easily understand
that it takes a wide diversity of skills to be successful in any work situation. They
demonstrate that there are always new skills to be learned and new situations in
which to apply pre-existing skills.

FedEx Express invented express transportation and remains the industry's global
leader, providing rapid, reliable, time-definite delivery to more than 220 countries
and territories, connecting markets that comprise more than 99% of the world's
gross domestic product.
Core Competencies
● At FedEx marketing strategies and it provides integrated services for
customers with high-value products.
● Leverage or vast shipping and information networks help to improved
supply chain performance.
● Reduce the costs and improve customer service

My Skills: Self-management and personal wellness as I know about the


operations the company does.

2. Biocon
Biocon is a biotechnology and healthcare company and medical equipment
company and produces product which are for the well being of human
beings .
Core Competencies

● Improve Customer Relationships and ensure a Better Customer Experience


● Develop overall People capabilities across the organization
● Enable improvement in process efficiency with a goal to optimize overall
spend
● introduce technological enablement to improve control, support process
enhancements, provide complete data visibility and support automated

My Skills: As it is wholly based on Marketing based company so I have


knowledge about supply chain and logistics, warehousing, inventory
control system, quality control system also know about the product
management system

Bharti Airtel Limited, also known as Airtel, is an Indian global


telecommunications services company based in Delhi, India. It operates in 18
countries across South Asia and Africa, and also in the Channel Islands.

Core Competencies

Airtel core competencies are sales & promotions and as of now, Airtel is
leading brand in mobile services in India. Airtel has three big personalities
Viz. Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh Khan, and music maestro A. R. Rahman for
endorsing there product and services currently Airtel is outsourcing there no
competence function and try to fully concentrate on his core competency that
is sales promotion.

My Skill: Commercial awareness (or business acumen) as I am aware of the


company operations and supply chain process.

4. WIPRO

Wipro was first formed in 1947 as a vegetable oil refining company. Today,
Wipro Technologies is a global IT services company that provides Consulting,
Business Process Outsourcing, Business Technology Services, Enterprise
Application Services, Infrastructure Management, Testing, Product
Engineering, Engineering Design, and Product Support. Their services are
spread across a range of strategic domains.

Wipro Technologies is the first CMMi Level 5 certified software services

Core Competencies

Wipro offers services like Consulting, Business Process Outsourcing, Business


Technology Services, Enterprise Application Services, Infrastructure
Management, Testing, Product Engineering, Engineering Design, and Product
Support.
My Skills: Critical thinking and problem solving as someone who will be good
with coding and analytical skill.

5. SAMSUNG
Samsung is a South Korean multinational conglomerate headquartered in
Samsung Town, Seoul. It comprises numerous affiliated businesses, most of
them united under the Samsung brand, and is the largest South Korean
chaebol. Samsung was founded by Lee Byung-Chul in 1938 as a trading
company.

Mercedes-Benz is a German global automobile marque and a division of


Daimler AG. The brand is known for luxury vehicles, buses, coaches, and
trucks. The headquarters is in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. The name first
appeared in 1926 under Daimler-Benz.

Core Competencies

Special Vehicles: By explicit customer request we can develop special


vehicles designed for particular tasks. Optimally adapting the G-Class to
highly specific situations presents great challenges.

Testing: Vehicle testing is an essential and exciting task. It complements the


work done by the other areas of competence and is done in several stages in
synch with development. One simple rule applies to the thorough endurance
test to which we subject the G-Class: It must be radical.

The Chassis: When it comes to designing the chassis, what matters is its
durability and ruggedness? To ensure this, we have been using a sturdy ladder
frame since the beginning. Its specific strengths are most apparent when used
off-road.

The Drive Train: Even the best engine is only as good as its periphery. Within
this area of competence, we create the foundation for the seamless use of the
modern Mercedes-Benz power plants and make sure they are able to exploit
their performance in the most efficient way possible.
My Skills: I know about inventory control, quality control, and operation
management and also have knowledge about supply of car dealer to the
customer by the supply chain and logistics process.

Flipkart Private Limited, d/b/a Flipkart is an Indian e-commerce company


based in Bengaluru, India. It was founded by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal
in 2007. The company initially focused on book sales, before expanding into
other product categories such as consumer electronics, fashion, and lifestyle
products.

international express, freight transportation, e-commerce, and supply chain
management services.

My skills: Commercial awareness as I know the background of the company


and in which it deals with.

It is an American multinational technology company based in Seattle,


Washington, that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming,
and artificial intelligence. It is considered one of the Big Four technology
companies along with Google, Apple, and Facebook.

Core Competencies:

Short time to detect problems. A quick resumption of errors/problems. Easy


to use Automation. Improving Visibility and control. Manage Hybrid
Environments. Maintain Security and Compliance.

Nestle is a Swiss multinational food and drinks processing conglomerate
corporation headquartered in Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland. It is the largest food
company in the world, measured by revenues and other metrics, since 2014. It
ranked No. 64 on the Fortune. Global 500 in 2017 and No. 33 on the 2016
edition of the Forbes Global 2000 list of largest public companies.
