Dear Parents & Students,

We are excited to kick off our Annual Art Competition beginning on Thursday, 12th
September 2019 for LPS students (Classes Prep-5). Those students interested in
participating, are required to register for any one category from the calendar options
mentioned below.

Please note: The art work submitted will be marked and will also be included in Mark Order
2 for Classes 3-5.

During weekly Art classes, teachers will be reviewing students' progress. Teachers will
maintain a checklist to track the student’s progress. The last day for submissions will be on
Friday, 11th October 2019.

The results of the Competition will be announced on Thursday, 24th October 2019.

Important Points to be noted:

 Use A3 sized paper and artwork can be in any medium (poster

colours, water colours, markers, oil pastels, charcoal, etc.)

Categories for selection are as follows:

1. Sports Day Invite

2. Calendar: Calendar must be initiated in landscape orientation and we
will follow the theme “Environmental concerns” for our calendar this year.

 January (Household and Industrial Waste– Preps)

 March (Water pollution – Class 1)
 May (Loss of endangered species – Class 2)
 August (Global Warming – Class 3)
 October (Agricultural pollution – Class 4)
 December (Landfills– Class 5)
