Good evening teacher and classmates. Today, I’d like to talk to you about the aromatherapy.
I’ll begin by talking about the benefits that produce in your body. Then I’ll list some important
benefits.
What is aromatherapy?
Let´s talk first about the aromatherapy. The aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that
uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Some people called essential oil
therapy. Also, Aromatherapy has been considering an art and a science. Recently
aromatherapy gained more recognition in the fields of science and medicine.
People have been using aromatherapy for thousands of years. The old cultures of China, India,
Egypt and other places incorporated components of aromatic plants in resins, balms and oils.
These natural substances were used for medical and religious purposes.
In general, Aromatherapy works in two different ways, through sense of smell and through
skin absorption using products such as these: diffusers, aromatic spritzers, inhalers, bathing
salts, body oils, creams, lotions for massage, facial steamers, hot and cold compresses and
finally clay masks.
