MINUTES OF MEETING
A meeting was held in Semarang on Thursday July 4, 2019 discussing about product
innovation in the 2017-2018 period.
The meeting was opened at 09.00 a.m. by the Chairperson. She reported that the company
hasn’t make a new product since 2017.
Result:
1. Taste Inovation
Ms. Mifta from production manager said that their company choose banana jam mix
with chocolate because all people like chocolate. Production process can be more
efficience than banana mixed with honey, and another reason is because it can reduce
fixed cost and variable cost. Their company got supplier of black chocolate from
Jogjakarta priced Rp 20.000/kg.
2. The Price
Ms. Greta from financial manager said that the price for banana jam mixed with
chocolate is Rp 25.000/jar. It was already include shipping cost and their company will
get point of Rp 5.000/jar.
3. Packaging and Services
Ms. Isna from marketing manager said that their company will use glass jar and sticker
label, because it look more clear and interesting. Another reason is, it can reduce use of
plastic. Their company choose mass media like Instagram, Blogspot and make some
brochures. They also use market place like BukaLapak, Shopee, Tokopedia, etc for the
services.
