I used to like a lot of texts that were graded and they weren’t authentic materials, I think that can

hinder a learner’s advancement. Fortunately, teachers started using more authentic materials as
classes progressed.

I think it is better for learners to use English from the beginning and avoid using L1, since the more
they are exposed to English, the faster they will learn. The will feel more motivated to know the
words and phrases in the L2.
