Project: Rehabilitation of Fence

Subject: CONSTRUCTION MEDTHODOLOGY

Before the start of the actual construction, comprehensive construction safety and health
(COSH) program shall be acquired from DOLE Regional Office and shall be followed by placing
visible signs and barricades at working site. Mobilization shall follow upon the release of Notice
to Proceed. After site inspection of the assigned Project Engineer, temporary facilities such as
bunkhouse, materials storage area shall be prepared simultaneously with the mobilization and
delivery of materials. Demolition of existing fence including its foundation then hauling and
disposal of debris shall be done to clear the site before excavation works, backhoe shall be
utilized for structural excavation, dump truck shall be used for the delivery of aggregates and
disposal of debris to designated place approved by the proper authorities. Formworks and
carpentry works shall be implemented by skilled workers for accurate line and grade to avoid
mistakes during pouring of concrete. Using concrete mixer, pouring of 3000 psi for reinforced
concrete as per plans and specifications thereof, approval of pouring request by the designated
Project In-Charge shall be secured prior to concrete pouring. Proper tools shall be used for the
removal of concrete forms. Plastering of outside and inside boundary of masonry walls shall be
done on a proper procedure prior to painting works as stipulated on material specifications, steel
works that include installation of barbed wire and entrance gate shall also be done strictly
compliant to safety and standard working procedure to comply on the designed plans and
specifications. Proper clearing and demobilization shall be implemented to complete the work.
