Increase the Variety in mid-priced wedding jewellery range:

 As per our survey and interactions with the customers at 2 of the Tanishq showrooms,
one in Bangalore and the other in Chennai, there was one common dissatisfaction in the
customers.
 They were not very happy with the range and variety that was being offered in the mid-
priced wedding jewellery ranging between 2-4 lakhs.
 Either the designs were too limited or if they liked the design then it was not available or
had a long waiting time of more than 1 month.

Recommendations:

 Tanishq can position itself in the minds of middle-class


families as a brand with the tagline “There is something for
everyone.”
 As the wedding jewellery market has a CAGR of almost
23% and the market is very competitive, Tanishq should
redesign their wedding collection with more focus on mid-
priced jewellery.
 They can also enhance their catalogue collection by making
artificial replicas of multiple designs for the customers to
choose from so that they can feel and try it and make a better
choice.
 They also need to reduce their waiting time for the make to order designs to a maximum
of 15 days.
