1. SUMMARY 4. REACTION

Our CTI Educational Tour was held last Tuesday Feb.
19, 2013. Our first destination was the LRTA in
Santolan Station. We took a glimpse in their control
room where they control everything and communicate
with the LRT Operators. They have at least 10 or more
computers inside the control room. Our 2nd destination
was supposed to be the PAG-ASA weather station but
they have a press conference because of the coming
tropical storm so we went to the Technohub Ayala
Land instead we had some presentation there. Our last
destination was at Falcon Crest where we have our
very own team building.
Our Educational tour was really a great experience for
all of us! I think it is our first time on attending a team
building. I was surprise because I thought that our
team building will be held at some swimming pool or
something that is more like a survivor games. At first,
when I was about to be next in the zip line I’m
thinking that I should back out due to my acrophobia
but I said to myself that I don’t want to waste the
money that I paid to be a part of the educational tour
so I decided to take every challenge for myself as a
person that has a acrophobia.

Our CTI Educational Tour has some flaws. The bus
numbers where we are supposed to be are not
organized well. We didn’t have a chance to go to
every single venues because of lack of time due to
students running late and miscommunications.
We also didn’t have much time to enjoy our Team
Building due to lack of time. And also for me the free
food that was offered to us was not that delicious at
all.
3. MEANING
the means of learning how the LRT operates and how
they operate it through the control room, I think
maybe someday I can be a part of their team and
because of this educational tour I had some short
briefing about their IT works that can really help me in
my future as an IT Professional.
Our team building in our educational tour relates to
me as a IT student by the means of cooperating and
communicating well with my fellow students, through
this team building experience I can use that experience
in my future as an IT Professional in communicating
well with my future co-workers.

Our Team Building in Falcon Crest located at Bulacan

was really fun. We enjoyed every single activity that
was presented to us. From the zip line to the crossing
of ropes, wall climbing, rappelling and hanging rope
cross. I personally have acrophobia and it’s my first
time to try zip line, wall climbing and rappelling, and
the first time that I conquered my fear even if it’s just
for a while. If we were to have another chance of
going back there to the Falcon Crest we will not
hesitate to come back again because of the great
activities that they offered to us to have fun and
cooperate with our fellow CITE students.
