1. Disassembly
• Reamer Jig
a. Remove OE retaining pin and save for reuse.
• Guide Pin
b. Remove OE plunger sleeve and valve and discard.
NOTE: Sonnax “F-Tool” kits designed to
service a specific bore require the VB-FIX,
c. Remove OE spring and save for reuse.

Ream torque converter lube regulator bore (for reaming instructions/reamer care, please
visit www.sonnax.com). Sonnax reaming tool kit F-33510N-TL8 and VB-FIX are required
for this operation.

3. Installation & Assembly

a. Be certain all debris has been removed from 16"-Hg
the valve bore and valve body.
b. Install Sonnax torque converter lube regulator
valve into bore, spring stem outboard. 12"-Hg

c. Reinstall OE spring in bore

d. I nstall Sonnax plunger sleeve and valve into bore.
e. Reinstall OE retaining clip.
