Learnings

Physical Education (P. E) is often viewed as a marginal subject within the curriculum and many
scholls actively reduce PE time to make way for what are deemed more "serious" or
"important" subjects
But for me, PE is still championed for it's potential to promote health and enco3lifelong physical
activity. In every mandatory activity especially in playing and initiating badminton you will learn
hat it contributes a lot to improved psychological health as well as helping to nurture social and
mot development.
I have learned a lot specifically the proper way of initiating badminton, when is the right time
you will decide that it's a let or either fault or score. Feels like I am a referee with a profession.
Aside from the learnings on how to play badminton and how to be a referee most importantly
I've learned how to develop social and emotional connection.

2. Realization

Intelectually active is not enough.

P. E gives an opportunity for students to be active and to give time for enjoyment while
acquiring knowledge, or in some cases, as a form of stress relief and to serve as a break from
traditional learning.
Physical Education or Playing badminton offer a unique platform on which to explore a
multitude of holistic learning opportunities including the ethical and moral controversies in
sport that give range of educational stimuli for debate just like when we are deciding if it is let,
fault or score it also help us in reasoning and critical thinking. It also made me realized that P. E
is a statement of optimum health synergized with physical and mental health.
3. Reflection

Through experiences from elementary, secondary education and until now in college I
have developed a fascination with the concept that an individual's health and wellness
as deeply rooted in a complex interconnection of the mind, body and environment.
Application of sports mainly in badminton help me acquire knowledge about the
techniques and basic rules in badminton.
Every game played in badminton serves as my diazepam, escape from chaos where
laughter and enjoymen is what it offers and we became socially connected. Aside from
all the learnings and realizations there's one thing for sure, the memories we've shared
will always cling on me and will always worth remembering.

Assessment

Subject Assessment
P.E serves as a rapport for me to be able to improve my self physically and mentally at the same
time. It doesn't only offer me enjoyment but most especially knowledge, knowledge that allows
me became aware how physical health and mental health is essential. It helps me to develop
my skill specifically leadership.

Classmate Assessment

Through this activity my classmates turned into friends, through physical activities I sa my
classmates supporting and cheering up each other. I saw them striving to put our team on top.
Some of my classmates were playing at banga to learn and to improve their playing skills. In
that moment I've realized that even we didn't got the highest score but seeing my classmates
hardworking and lifting up each other is already an achievement.
Maybe some of them didn't noticed that but at the practicum day I recognized how the putted
enormous efforts and cheers to motivate. Yes we did it for grades but theres one thing worth
more than getting the highest grade and it is we develop and improve ourselves and probe we became
one and united.
Teacher Assessment

I can merely saw how sincere and constantly trying you are to helps us to learn and progress.
As one of your students, Ive realized that your goal isn't just to make us be active within the
lessons but also to provide us with knowledge, understanding, and skills wes s hould acquire in
order for us to continue developing our physical literacy through out lifetime and enjoy our
lives in physical activity. You've taught me that without learning, we won't develop the
competence and confidence we needed in order to be motivated.
You had set the standard for us, you provided your students with an appropriate amount of
challenges. Challenges that will push us to discover our hidden strengths, capabilities, and
talents. You also provide us the opportunities to reflect on our learnings, failures, and
realizations. With all your hard work and sincerity to teach us not only academically but most
especially personal development.
