Narrative Report of Demonstration Teaching

Practice Teaching is one of the most memorable moments in my CTP course. I felt mixed

emotion like happiness, sadness , nervousness and excitement.

January 15, 2018 is the deployment of all Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education student

teacher of Bataan Peninsula State University Balanga Campus. We started everything by

endorsing with the principal of City of Balanga National High School Mrs. Alma V. Poblete,

DEM. COBNHS is warmly welcome us all student teacher. In that day, we will assigned in

different Cooperating Teacher, I’ll assigned to Ms. Avelina S. Dizon who teaches

Kontemporaryong Isyu in Araling Panlipunan 10. She is floating teacher and she teaches 4

section in Grade 10 namely Pacquiao, Gold, Hydrogen and Carbon. My Cooperating teacher is a

single mom parent but she is so very responsible as a single mom parent, she is intelligent and

have strong personality.

First, I will be doing some preparation in my practice teaching. I’ll do first my lesson plan and

IM’s so I have guidelines on how to teach my students to this subject matter. I always think an

excitement motivation so that the students have willingness to listen and participate to our

everyday lesson. I find myself excited and eager to be in front of the classroom where I have

always wanted to be. While I have seen various forms of teaching I am ready to begin my own.

In my personal forms of teaching I value the student’s opinion and values on the topic of

instruction. If a student is engaged in a lesson they are learning, and from this I formed various

philosophies on the education process. While I am eager to teach many lessons and provide an

education, I am also prepared and excited for lessons I will learn from the students, the school

and my cooperating teacher.

March 1 is my final demo teaching, I felt nervous but I always think that I have God who always

guide me all the time. I’ll do my final demo with all my heart, I explained the topic “Mga

Pandaraya ng Ilang Kandidato sa Panahon ng Halalan”. I explained it what is the true issue

behind that topic. I listen to their opinions and I’ll explain the value of knowing those things

because someday they become part of the election, so I’ll teach them to become a good citizen of

our country and choose a responsible leader who helps our country to progress.

Overall, this experience and learning I had in practice teaching is really memorable in behalf of

pain and being tired. The most important thing in this is that I know it will help me to become a

better teacher and a better person.
