    REQUEST LETTER

    Dear Mr. Bien:

    I am Jeremiah Claire Alcasabas, a fifth-year B.S. Architecture student of National University, Manila. I
    am in the early stage of developing an undergraduate thesis proposal. The objective of the project is to
    help the local government in preserving and conserving the marine ecosystem in Batanes island, the
    research will be focusing on Coral reefs consider as one of the marine habitats of the island.

    Under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016, Freedom of Information Order, I am writing to request your good
    office for the following public information/records for my data gathering:

    1. Number of fish caught per year in Batanes from 2014- latest


    2. Monthly caught per year in Batanes - latest

    If possible, I would like to request a waiver of all fees, if any, for searching or copying the public
    information/records mentioned above as these will be used for academic purposes only.

    I would appreciate your advice if the information requested could not be disclosed nor released within
    the timeframe prescribed by Tuguegarao City Citizen's Charter and R.A. 11032, Ease of Doing Business
    and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.

    Upon request, I will be happy to provide your office a copy of the full report by the end of the academic
    year once my thesis has been officially accepted by the college. If you require further information, please
