introduce our honoree today. But our honoree doesn’t need a long introduction because she is well-known to everyone of us.
She stayed in our DepEd family for more than half of her life. To be exact 40yrs in service.
She taught in different schools in her hometown in Luna
Kalinga, Apayao. And here in Laoag City. She was in La Paz Elem. School when she wanted to serve her barangaymates. She transferred here at Sta. Maria Elem. School in 1991 until she opted to retire this June.
Our honoree my friend is a dedicated teacher. She was always
available to her pupils to be successful. Even at the end of a day she would volunteer her time to stay after school hours to meet with small groups of pupils who needed extra help.
I have to come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist
and that there are as few as there are any other great artists.
Ma’am you are one of the greatest artists of the teaching
profession. You have made a lasting impression on through the lives of the pupils you have taught.
Our honoree is also a good friend. Masarap siyang kasama. We
have always been a company. They call us 3 Marias. She is frank kung may gusto o di nagustuhan sinasabi niya ng harapan pero pagkatapos nito wala na sa kanya.
She has a good heart too. Kung gusto niyang
magpameryenda magpapabili na siya. She’s also a joker. You can be entertained with her jokes. She has been our “to go person” when we have had questions or needed ideas.
Our honoree this afternoon is a devoted wife to Mr. Jose V.
Ramos and a caring mother to her only son Jose and daughter-in- law Mary Ann De Vera of Calasiao, Pangasinan. She is a doting grandmother to her 3 grandchildren Jayden Brylle, Jander Adrien and Mia Janelle who are smart and intelligent. I’m very much honoured to present to you our honoree, Mrs. Lucrecia V. Ramos.
