TEARS OF THE SUN

I. Introduction
The title of the movie is Tears of the Sun, produced by Michael Lobell,
Arnold Rifkin and Ian Bryce. And it was directed by Antoine Fuqua. The main
actor is Bruce Willis as “L.t A.K Waters” and the actress is Monica Bellucci as
“Dr. Lena Kendricks”. This movie tells how important the life of a citizen is. And
the main mission here is to save Dr. Kendricks, who went to Nigeria to help
Nigerian Refugees, but the rebels came and spread violence. L.t A.K Waters
ordered and his troops to save Dr. Kendricks who stuck at the Village in Nigeria.
This movie shows the sacrifice of an Army just to help refugee to escape in the
hands of the Rebels. And how they sacrifice their lives to the mission.

II. Plot’s Summary

L.t A.K Waters and the U.S Army planned to closed the jungle hospital of
Dr. Kendricks, because it is dangerous. L.t A.K waters and his troops arrived in
Nigeria and forced Dr. Kendricks to go with them. But Dr. Kendrricks refused and
didn’t go with them. Dr. Kendricks said that she will only go with them if they
save first the refugees, especially the children refugees. And L.t Waters deal
with it. Not so luckily the Nigerian Rebels knew their plan. After boarded the
refugees, the Nigerian Rebels attacked the Refugees and also the U.S Army.
They sacrificed they lives to the refugees. They didn’t stop fighting until they
reached the base of U.S Army. Most of the U.S Army have killed by the Rebels,
but many of the refugees are saved.

III. Description
L.T Waters a.ka. Bruce Willis is one of the best. Specially in the movie
Tears of the Sun. I have no idea what the movie is. While watching the movie,
tears begin to fall. Emotions can’t stop. Because the movie reminded me how
hard the life is. How hard the life of an Army, how difficult the life of being a
refugee. And I continued to watch the movie until the end. And I’ll not forget the
lesson of this movie.
IV. Analysis
This movie is only for adults. Because it contained very sensitive part and
it shouldn’t be watched by kids. This movie shows the situation of a refugee. And
I think this movie will have a lot of viewers, especially to those who liked dramas
and action. The flow of the movie first, action and in the last is drama. Bruce
Willis is a very good actor and also with Monica Bellucci. They did well their
roles, and make the viewers got emotional. For me it is the best drama with
action and thriller movie. The flow of the movie was nice and also the music
really blend to the story. And it makes the movie really nice.

V. Concussion/Evaluation
The movie Tears of the Sun reminds us the situation of being a refugee.
And reminds us, as a servant of our country we should always prioritize others,
more than in ourselves in the midst of war. And I therefore conclude that we
should we should help people even though we are not very well known because
they are in need. I recommending this movie to watch, because you can get an
extra ordinary experience and moral lessons.
