Current Job:

 Working at Deloitte Advisory - Accounting & Reporting Transformation – USI as an Associate since
October 2016 till date.
 Industry: Consumer and Industrial Products, Energy & Resources, Life Sciences and Financial

Experience &Responsibilities Include:

 Phase-wise implementation of the new Revenue Recognition standard (ASC 606/ IFRS 15) and
Lease standard (ASC 842/IFRS 16).
 Accounting assessments for complex derivative and commodity contracts to test criteria for
consolidation/VIE’s, leases, derivatives and embedded derivatives.
 Deliverables: Memo’s, Position Summaries, Scenario developments, Data Gap Analysis, Contract
Assessments, Training decks etc.

Previous Experience:

 Worked at Walker Chandiok & Co LLP (Grant Thornton) with the assurance team.

Experience &Responsibilities Include:

 Preparation and completion of checklists in planning stages for engagement scoping and teaming,
understanding of client business, risk identification, management audits, internal control evaluation
and tax risk assessment.
 Understanding and documenting the business processes involving discussion with clients on flow of
transactions and conduct of walk through and test of controls.
 Participated in conduct of Statutory Audits (listed &unlisted companies) involving compliance with
the statutory and reporting requirements.
 Preparation of tax audit reports& returns as per the provisions of the Act.

Internship:
 Three months internship experience at Deloitte & Touché LLP (USI Audit & Enterprise risk profile).
 Worked as an Article Assistant with Praturi & Sriram Chartered Accountants for three years, audit
firm with over 30 years of standing, based in Secunderabad, from 2012 to 2015.

etc. Moderate knowledge in IFRS and US-GAAP.
 Taxation: Moderate knowledge in understanding, interpretation, and application of direct and
indirect tax laws.
 Auditing: Expertise in understanding, interpretation, and application of Standards on Auditing and
required accounting standards and GAAP along with skills to conduct and conclude Statutory Audit
under Companies Act, 2013 with CARO Compliance, Internal Audit and Tax Audits.
 Information Technology: Advanced knowledge in usage of operating systems Windows XP, 8, 10
along with Microsoft Office.
