DIANA DORT

Undergraduate Student

Diana Dort is a second-year student at Montclair State University, where Diana is

majoring in Justice Studies with double concentrations: Paralegal Studies and Justice
Systems. Diana also has a minor in Child Advocacy and Policy and her goal after
CONTACT graduation from Montclair State University to become a child custody lawyer. Diana
is passionate about helping children who are in difficult circumstances with their
862-872-0957 parents or guardians. Diana wants to be a voice for them in providing them with the
best home and environment where they will be protected and loved.

Diana takes part in several organizations and works as a student leader on campus.
Diana is a Resident Assistant at Montclair State University, where her primary job is
supporting residents. As a Resident Assistant, Diana assists residents with personal,
social, and academic concerns or needs. Diana works with the Community Director,
Assistant Community Director, or their designee, to identify avenues to develop
personal well-being through University experiences.

On top of being a Resident Assistant, Diana is also an office assistant at the student
center. She leads, assists, and works with the other staff to improve the life of students
getting engaged on campus. A day at the office for Diana includes handling incoming
Montclair, NJ
calls and other communications, helping organize and maintain common office areas,
and being a guide to students that come in with questions.

She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society that recognizes
students for outstanding academic achievement during the first year in college. She is
also a member of the Women’s Leadership Academy, which prepares women for
leadership roles in the world while helping them succeed academically and socially.

Outside of school and being a leader, Diana enjoys writing and reading. She has her
blog, where she publishes her poetry and writings. Diana works quickly and
efficiently and takes pride in making sure that all of her work is organized. She can
create content and complete task well before the deadlines. Diana is intrigued by the
idea of using her organization and writing skills. She aspires to advocate for child
abuse and sexual abuse. She is a future activist at heart and is willing to take part in
any project for social justice.
