What is wristwatch

A watch is a timepiece intended to be carried or worn by a person. It is designed to


keep working despite the motions caused by the person's activities. The watch main
purpose is to well tell time. But as time and fashion grows it becomes a jewelry piece

Components

Lug: Lug. Sometimes referred to as horns, lugs are projections on the watch case that
are used to secure the strap or bracelet to the watch case.

Speciality

 patek: It took three years to design, and another five years to manufacture the
watch, which was delivered to Henry Graves on January 19, 1933. The
Supercomplication was the world’s most complicated mechanical timepiece for
more than 50 years, with a total of 24 different functions. These included
Westminster chimes, a perpetual calendar, sunrise and sunset times, and a
celestial map of New York as seen from the Graves's apartment on Fifth
Avenue.
 Audemars Piguet: this rare 19k gold perpetual calendar wristwatch with leap
year, moon phases and two-tone dial. It was manufactured in 1957 and has 18
jewels and a two-tone silvered dial.
 Jacob&Co: Custom made for Flavio Briatore, one of kind, 260 karats of
diamonds, 18 karat white gold base
 Rolex: the Paul Newman's Rolex Daytona (Paul Newman was an American
actor, film director, producer, race car driver, IndyCar owner, entrepreneur, and
philanthropist.) is expensive because of it’s history, the price is so high
because of the historical value and previous owner
