ACTIVITY 1

INSTRUCTIONS DIAGRAM
1. This drill focuses on hitting
middle out of serve receive.
2. A server on one side of the
net with one middle blocker

and a middle hitter

INSTRUCTIONS DIAGRAM
1. This drill helps players
understand proper
movement for free ball
transition, when passing to
the setter.
2. 6 players on the court in
defensive positions, teacher
tossing free balls
Setting 3. Coach will toss a free ball,

ACTIVITY 4
INSTRUCTIONS DIAGRAM
1. This drill focuses on passing
free balls to the setter,
allowing the setter to make
a good outside set to the
hitter.
2. 4 player positions: right back
passer, setter on the same
side of the net, and outside

quickly, not allowing a lot of
wait time in between turns.
