Summary of Strengths
Excellent use of language that is inclusive, kind and helpful. The learners responded very well to the
range of activities and learning experiences you had planned for them. You were able to cope with
the change in the class very well, even though I know you felt over-whelmed by this, you bossed it!

Summary of Areas to be Developed

You need to scan your learners at all time to make sure some don't just wander off. Insist they ask
your permission before going anywhere other than where the learning is taking place.

Learners realty enjoyed the games. It is always great when you are constantly linking to the Li's yet
being very flexible about how you deliver the learning experiences. I love the way you wrap the
iessons upi!

Summary of Areas to be Developed

Perhaps you might like to use an extra ref to help keep learners honest and engaging well. !t is
important to have a range of "go to's" to help learners check in or check out for a bit/ maybe a drink

of water/ whakanga, restorative dialogue etc. Also/ always have very clear boundaries; it is important
for learners to know what your negotiables and non-negotiables are.

Summary of Strengths

Definitely saw a shift in your confidence in today's lesson! You were sure about your decisions and
how you wanted to deliver the teaching and learning. You knew how you wanted things to go and

adjusted to make sure you achieved your goals! Excellent development (^) Learners engaged very
well!!

Summary of Areas to be Developed

As we talked about it, when you know your learners you will probably group them a little differently
so that one group is not disproportionately more dominant than another.

Classroom presence

Confidence

Interactions with students

Professionalism

Summary of Strengths

Learners really enjoyed the resource.

Positive reinforcement and encouragement of learners who are engaged well and sticking to the
kaupapa.

As always, excellent use of collective and inclusive language.

Time monitoring was very good.
Reinforcing the Li's constantly, this is greatl This helped with keeping things on track.
Lesson wrap up today was great! Addressed the Li's, tips for next time they play the game, talked
about how to respect others.

Summary of Areas to be Developed

Waiting for learners to all be ready before moving on or getting into the class discussion, ft can seem
like a waste of time, but it reminds all learners that they are all valid and their contributions are

important.
Classroom management - use proximity to prevent some unwanted hype or disruptive behaviour.
Address directly undesirable comments and discussions.
