Dear Mohamad,

I’m really devastated to let you know that Evangeline- our most faithful TV- has
died. Not only has Evangeline the friend that has always been by my side , but also
she was that friend that I always believed was worthy of my friendship and time.
Here’s what happened.

Didn’t I tell you before that bad luck follows me as a dog follows its master? Well,
I genuinely believe now. On the first day of my desperately awaited vacation, I
was making my breakie with my mom when I thought today was my lucky day,
until eventually I heard a deafening crash that made my heart jump to my throat,
blocking the scream that was coming out of my mouth. After a heartbeat, I heard
my father ear-cracking voice , and I sprinted out to see the chaos. Just as I came in
the room, I saw the glinting shards of glass scattered on the ground beside the
remnants of my beloved Evangeline.

I pulled up my gaze reluctantly, and glowered wrathfully at the obvious culprit –

John. My eyes literally shot him daggers. He was shivering! I can be monstrous
sometimes. Feeling down in the dumps, I visited the library to get some tranquil
time with myself and saw a book that really caught my eye called’
…………………….” From the moment I opened the book, I couldn’t peel my
eyes off it. Then , my friend, I fell in love with READING!

That’s all sweetie. I just want you to understand whenever it seems like it is the
end of the world, you just have to try to make it work on the other side!
