The “Employee information system” has been developed to override the problems
prevailing in the practicing manual system. This software is supported to eliminate
and in some cases reduce the hardships faced by this existing system. Moreover
this system is designed for the particular need of the company to carry out
operations in a smooth and effective manner.
This application is reduced as much as possible to avoid errors while entering the
data. No formal knowledge is needed for the user to use this system. Thus by this
all it proves it is user friendly.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
Personal Information Management: This section will provide all the personal and
professional details of the employee. Details to be stored are: Personal details:
name, age, year of joining, address, date of birth, qualifications, contact details and
Professional details: Designation, experience, training done ,salary, achievements
over the period, current project and location.
CONCLUSION
Keeping in view the demand for growth of organization and stand in the market as
a competitor, it is important to maintain the working environment healthy so that
the employees perform efficiently and help in the progress of the organization.
This system helps in improving and maintaining such environment.
FUTURE SCOPE
This project can be modified in future according to the need of the employees,
administrator and users. This project can be used not only as the information
system but as the management system also only by including some more
management features and modifications. This project can also be made to work
online by providing the internet features and hence can be changed to work as an
Online Job Portal.
EXISTING SYSTEM
Earlier systems were manual where there was no way of properly storing
information. Employee records were stored manually which lead to errors. There
was no proper way of tracking employee records. It was very difficult and required
a lot of paperwork which makes the application time consuming and not secured.
There was no administrator which could handle the records. So there was the need
to develop a system which could manage all these things and reduce the
paperwork.
