PROF. MICHAEL ANTHONY C. VASCO, PhD

DEAN
Faculty of Arts and Letters

Dear Prof. Michael Anthony C. Vasco, PhD,

Established in the year 2016, Aces PH, a semi-professional dance team that started as a small group of
college dancers from University of Santo Tomas has become a rising dance crew consisting of senior high
school and college students from different universities namely University of Santo Tomas, Far Eastern
University, University of the Philippines, College of Saint Benilde, and Chiang Kai Shek College. The team
has been competing and bagging podium finishes in different competitions inside University of Santo
Tomas such as Meltdown 2016 and IPEA: Step Up Competition from AY 2016-2017. The team strives to
grow bigger and better as a group of dancers, more responsible students and excellent athletes – all for the
greater glory of God. This year, the team has set its goal to experience a competition outside the campus of
University of Santo Tomas and bag a podium finish once again.

Last April 14, 2018, Domination Philippines North Qualifier, a prestigious street dance competition was
held in the San Andres Sports Complex, Malate, Manila. I, Rel Gherdan R. Salazar, together with Aces
PH, joined in the said competition and bagged the 2nd runner-up title in the Mammoth Division.

Being in the top three of the Mammoth Division, our team has been qualified to represent the Philippines in
the upcoming Domination International Championship 2018 to be held in Edmund Rice Performing Arts
Centre at St. Laurence’s College in Brisbane, Australia on September 22, 2018.

It will truly be an honor for Aces PH and I to represent the Philippines in the said competition.

In this regard, I would like to ask your permission to be excused in classes from September 18 to 27, 2018
for this will be the dates that I will stay in Australia for the
competition.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Many thanks! CONFORME:

REL GHERDAN R. SALAZAR RHODORA R. SALAZAR
