The Necklace

The author writes this story, "The Necklace" to show to the readers what the role of
being character of this story is. And what is the purpose of the author why Guy de
Maupassant wrote this.

Madame Loisel is women symbolize to others women who have attitude or style
like Madame Loisel. She married a man who simple not likes what she aim or
ambition.

One day, her friend Madame Frostier invite her to her party and when Madame
Loisel receive the invitation, she excited to attend that party, but Madame Loisel
frustrated what she going to wear it, even the dress bought from her husband she is
not comfortably to wear it because she felt that she looks like a maid, she wants to
gorgeous in that party. When she have now a dress to wear it in the party, the
another problem of her, is dont have a necklace. So madame Forestier decide to
borrowed her a diamond necklace, so she is lively when she wear it to her neck.
When the event come, she arrive at the night of the party in the palace. She was
prettier than any other woman present in the party. The first she saw was her friend
madame Forestier, madame Forestier call one of her servant in the party to
intertain her friend madame Loisel. The party came at the middle of the night
madame Loisel did not notice that the necklace she borrow was lose to her neck
already until she arrive there house thats the time she panick her reaction when she
touch her neck that the necklace was lose already. Until madame Loisel plan how
to pay it to her friend. She decision to work in 24 hours but like what her husband
said that even she have double work maybe she didn't finish to pay it the necklace
her lose it. Until the day came that madame Loisel and her friend madame
Forestier counter in the corner of hallway, she was shock, she didn't know how will
to say it that her necklace lose her when in the party in the middle of the night.
Until she grab her opportunity and to try to say it her problem until she told her to
pay it. But madame Frostier instead of her face will become a anger she laugh and
madame Loisel shocking why her friend laughing. Until madame Forestier told her
that the necklace she lost has worth of five hundred franc, she was so shock
because of her expectation was forty thousand francs. Until she is cried because of
the sacrifice that she suffer and her husband to replace or pay it the necklace she
lost.

The purpose of the author was to give advice to the woman have like this attitude
or style that she never contented what she have.

This story was can alignment of the Post-Structuralism because in the said of post-
structuralism is convinced that systematic knowledge is possible: post-structuralist
claim to know only the impossibility of this knowledge. Therefore, it might be Guy
de Maupassant use of his all tought and his knowledge. And the story target to give
influence to the readers by the message of the story it can be has an impact itself to
the readers. Post-structuralism is not necessary or strictly to the grammar or the to
the text. As what I understand is freely to open up your knowledge when you make
a something text.
